What exactly does the base price of my NOOK include?
The base price includes the complete structure with A energy certification, electrical installation with dimmable LED spotlights and sockets, natural ventilation, aluminium joinery with double glazing, and the integrated NOOK corner finished in Sand or Mahogany laminate.
How long does it take from configuring my NOOK to installation?
Fabrication across our European production bases takes 8–10 weeks. Once built, the complete installation happens in under 24 hours. The total time from reservation to enjoying your NOOK is roughly 3 months.
Can I change the finishes after making the initial reservation?
No — once the €2,000 reservation is made, your configuration is confirmed and can't be modified. That's why it's important to review every finish and extra carefully in the configurator before completing your order. If you're unsure, book a call with our team before reserving.
Is the integrated NOOK corner mandatory, or can I opt out?
The NOOK corner is an essential design feature that houses all the technical installations (climate control, electrical systems, and the solar battery if you add one). It can't be removed, but you can choose between the 4 available finishes so it blends with your style.
Do I need permits to install a NOOK Base in my garden?
It depends on local rules. In the UK, garden buildings under certain size and height limits often fall under permitted development; usage and siting can change that. We provide the full technical documentation (drawings, certifications, technical file) to make your application straightforward. Permits are the customer's responsibility, but we support you through the process.
