How long does the whole process take for a NOOK prefab garden room?
It is built in 8–12 weeks, arrives finished and is connected in hours.
Before that come your idea, the check of your site and your proposal with floor plans; where planning consent is needed, that comes first, and we tell you what to expect before you order. For Zenith and Etna, on-site assembly takes about two weeks; for Etna that covers the structure and exterior, and the interior is designed and quoted with you.
How much does it cost to reserve a prefab garden room, and is it refundable?
€2,000 for a NOOK 10 or NOOK Sauna and €5,000 for a NOOK 20 (or the equivalent in pounds or dollars), refundable if your site turns out to be unviable.
You then complete 30% to secure your production slot, and pay the remaining 70% when production starts. Hospitality projects pay in stages.
Who handles planning permission for a prefab garden room?
We look at it with you before you commit to anything: whether you need consent depends on where you are and how you'll use it.
Where it is needed, it comes first, before production. On hospitality projects we work with your architect and planners, and we work through it with you.
What does the price of a NOOK include, and what is quoted separately?
The price is for the finished unit, ex works, excluding VAT.
Transport, foundations and installation are quoted for your address, and we organise all three. For Zenith, transport, foundations, assembly and taxes are quoted separately; for Etna they are quoted and coordinated with your builder.
How do you check whether my site suits a prefab garden room?
Send us a few photos and we'll tell you what's possible: access for the truck and crane, where the power and water are, orientation, trees and local planning.
Your reservation is refundable if your site turns out to be unviable.
What happens on the day your NOOK arrives?
Your NOOK arrives finished, the crane sets it on its foundations and it is connected in hours.
Foundations are done beforehand, on a separate visit: screw piles, your existing level concrete base or concrete pads. And we're still here once it's yours.
Can a NOOK prefab garden room be moved later?
Yes. A NOOK sits on screw piles rather than permanent foundations, and can be lifted out and moved.
Zenith and Etna, by contrast, are permanent houses built on site.
What guarantee comes with a NOOK prefab garden room?
A 3-year guarantee on residential units, plus each component's own manufacturer warranty. Hospitality guarantees are tailored to each project.
Every detail is finished before it leaves our production base, so it still looks new in ten years' time.
